The Santiam Chapter was organized in February of 1941. The chapter has members from Lebanon, and the surrounding areas of Scio and Mill City. We welcome all women who are interested in promoting patriotism and historic preservation. Special interest is paid to area history by inviting local speakers, and taking field trips to interesting historical sites. These include many of the wonderful covered bridges of Oregon, two of which are displayed on this page.
