Wahkeena Chapter serves the entire Portland area and Southwest Washington. Our members live in all areas of Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, King City, Gresham, Clackamas, Vancouver, Battleground and Camas

How
to Join the DAR Wahkeena Chapter welcomes women who are interested in promoting historic preservation, history, and patriotism. All applicants must be no less than 18 years of age. She must prove lineal, blood line, descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American Independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage and death. This shall include the applicant's birth certificate naming her parents. If you are interested in joining Wahkeena Chapter, contact our chapter registrar through our chapter's email. Tell us if you have a DAR relative, where you are in your research, and the name of your Revolutionary War ancestor. |
