Winema Chapter DAR membership is a unique cross-section of family historians, genealogists, and patriotic leaders.
We meet monthly to enjoy an educational and timely program.

Our Objectives
- HISTORICAL -- To perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American independence.
- EDUCATIONAL -- To carry out the injunction of Washington in his farewell address to the American people, “to promote, as an object of primary importance, institutions for the general diffusion of knowledge, thus developing an enlightened public opinion...”
- PATRIOTIC -- To cherish, maintain and extend the institutions of American freedom, to foster true patriotism and love of country, and to aid in securing for mankind all the blessings of liberty.
Membership
- Any woman is eligible for membership who is no less than eighteen years of age and who can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death.

Our Meetings
- Winema Chapter meets the 2nd Monday of the month from September through May from 10:00 a.m. until about noon. We always have time for visiting, a song or two, and a timely program followed by a brief business meeting.
