Location: Lincoln CountyLincoln County is located on the beautiful Oregon Coast with lovely green forests, lakes, rivers and stretches of sandy beaches accessible to the public. Activities here include river and deep-sea fishing, clam digging, crabbing, beach-combing for rocks, agates, shells, driftwood, seaweed, glass floats, etc. Whales spouting and breaching may often be viewed from the beach as well as on special whale watching boat trips. It is a great place for building sand castles, kite-flying and bird watching. We have mild winters and good gardening conditions, even on the beach front. Average temperatures range from 40 degrees to 70 degrees. Highway RoutesUS Hwy 101 leads north to the state of Washington and south to California. This highway has a shoulder bikeway that makes up the Oregon Coast Bike Route of a total length of 367 miles. The section through Lincoln County is one of the most picturesque.
