Toledo Public Library houses the largest collection of genealogical materials in Lincoln County. The Library is a member of the Coastal Research Sharing Network, through which it can provide its cardholders in-library and at-home computer access to Heritage Quest data bases.  HQ data bases include censuses, books, PERSI, selected Revolutionary War records, and the Freedman's Bank.The Library's hours are:

To get to the library take the west Toledo exit from U. S. Highway 20.  Follow Business Hwy 20 to the stoplight. Turn left onto A street, and turn right onto 7th Street.  There are a swimming pool, children's play area, and tennis courts in the immediate vicinity of the library.
