Their twelve years of school work behind them, ninety-seven members of the senior class at Gettysburg high school today stood on the threshold of commencement.

On Friday evening the seniors were guests of the high school alumni association at a dinner at the high school, and on Sunday evening they will hear the Rev. Howard S. Fox, pastor of Trinity Reformed church, preach the baccalaureate sermon in St. James’ Lutheran church.

Next Thursday evening, June 4, the 97 seniors will receive their diplomas at unique commencement exercises at the high school auditorium. The commencement program will be in the form of a pageant entitled “The Launching of The Ship,” written by members of the senior class.

Give Brief Talk
In the course of the pageant, Dr. Thomas L. Cline, head of the English department at Gettysburg college, will give a brief talk. The names of the seniors to be graduated next week follow:
