If you know the name "Gettysburg" you know that the largest land battle in North America took place here July 1, 2, 3, 1863 forever changing the sleepy county of Adams in Pennsylvania. There are many sites regarding Gettysburg. Below are some genealogical and non-genealogical sites of interest.

Bill Parkin has placed the rosters of the two Adams Co. units in which his great-grandfather, Isaac Trimper Riley, served on his homepage. These were the 165th PA Volunteers/Drafted Militia Co. C and the 209th PA Volunteers Co. G.
74th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Co. G roster (from Adams Co.)
101st PA York and Adams County (Company K was from Adams Co.)
138th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. It contains a complete roster of the Regiment. At least one company was recruited from the Adams County area. Thanks to Gary Fait.
