Instructions for subscribing/unsubscribing
to the
ALLEGHENY County Discussion list:
Subscribe to the list by sending an email message to
PAALLEGH-L-request@rootsweb.com
that contains the word
subscribe
in the body of the message and nothing else.
Turn off signature files, etc.
Unsubscribe by sending a message to
PAALLEGH-L-request@rootsweb.com
that contains the word
unsubscribe
in the body of the message and nothing else.
Turn off signature files, etc.
To post to PAALLEGH-L, send a message to
PAALLEGH-L@rootsweb.com
To subscribe to the digest mode, just
substitute the letter "D" where you see the "L" above,
such as PAALLEGH-D-request@RootsWeb.com
Digest mode will give you the same posts,
but grouped in fewer emails, about 2-3 times a day.
A few simple rules:
1. Absolutely no flames or nastiness will be tolerated.
2. Please do NOT quote an entire message. If you want
to quote, cut and paste the relevant portion.
3. Please do not attach files or send long files or GEDCOMs to the
list. This makes some people's ISPs go crazy.
4. Relax and have fun here :> There are no dumb questions,
and this is a friendly place.
