Becoming
a Member
Membership in the Beaver County Genealogy and History Center allows us to preserve the history of Beaver County, continue adding to our collection, publish Gleanings and to be available to help you with your research. Membership year is from July to June. We are now accepting new
memberships for the 2012-2013 year.
Our membership fee is $20.00. If you would like to receive Gleanings
via e-mail attachment, please let us know your e-mail address.
"Gleanings" Is the semi-annual publication of the History Center,
dedicated to the publication of information of interest to those researching
families who resided in Beaver County.
Queries The Center will publish queries for members free in "Gleanings." The fee for non-members is $3.00 per query. The editor reserves the right to reject any query if it is deemed inappropriate. Special Services The Center is willing to copy, without charge,
genealogical or historical records held by private individuals, providing
one copy to the owner and donating the other to the Beaver County Genealogy
and History Center. This includes the records of churches, cemeteries,
funeral directors, magistrates, etc. The original records will be returned
to the owner. The officers of the BCGHC will determine whether the records
are appropriate for copying.
