Butler County Historical Society's Genealogical Research Collection!

Join the Butler County Historical Society as they travel to Antietam in June of 2010.  Visit the Battlefield where Butler County Regiments fought and then  off to the Antietam National Cemetery where the Butler County casualties were laid to rest.  More information will be available after October 31, 2009 at www.butlerhistory.com.

COMING SOON!!!!  The Butler County Genealogical Society Volunteers have been diligently working on microfilming and indexing the Employee Record Cards of the Standard Steel Car Company  (Pullman Standard).  These cards contain vital records of the employees and their families and provide proof of the many immigrants that came here and worked a few years before returning to their native land.  There still were the thousands of others who came, stayed, and prospered in this country.
