The Butler County Courthouse is home to estates/wills, deeds, naturalizations, civil and criminal court records, tax records, births and deaths from 1893-1905, and marriages from 1885 to the present for Butler County. The Butler County Historical Society's Genealogical Collection is now available in their office - over 70 lineal feet of family files, more than 200 family histories, and the largest collection of Butler County's original documents, photographs, family collections, extensive genealogical resources, and an experienced genealogist and researchers available Tuesday through Friday. Their new microfilm reader allows you to save microfilm images to your flash drive, disk, or print a paper copy. Conveniently located across the street from the courthouse!
