Holtwood and McCall's Ferry Dam are the same structure, the name McCalls Ferry existed from Colonial times but after the dam was built the name was changed to Holtwood to honor two executives of the company that had the dam built. The Pequea referenced below is Pequea Village at the juncture of the Susquehanna River and Pequea Creek. It needs to be distinguished between it and Pequea Twp.
