These records are based a compilation by Lewis H. Ripley, Jr., dated November, 1981 and a
field check and additional transcriptions by George R. Warholic on April 30, 1999 and
December 8, 2004. Rows and markers are based on my best judgement -- some of the rows
merge into others. A survey of the cemetery was performed in October 1998 by Tom Wray
and others to determine space available for additional burials. This was estimated at 100.
Mr. Wray's grandfather helped build this church and he has helped with maintenance and repairs.
The existing church was not built in 1833. It was constructed primarily of American Chestnut

The church and cemetery are located at the intersection of Route 422 and Cardiff Road.
There is an Annual Bethel Church Reunion held the second Sunday of August with a "Bring-a-Dish Picnic"
at 12:30. Bring your favorite picnic food and lawn chair. Business meeting and worship service follows."
