AUMAN/CORMAN/GARBRICK/RIDER/WENRICK I would like to hear from people who have information on Isaiah & Susanna (WENRICK) RIDER in the vicinity of Coburn, Penn Twp. Among their children was a son Peter RIDER (1865-1907) who m. 25 Jun 1893 Clara Isabelle (1877-1948), dau/o Michael & Margaret Ann (GARBRICK) CORMAN. Peter Rider's obituary says, "Peter RIDER, the man who figured so conspicuously in the shooting of the AUMAN boy last fall, died on Thursday of last week. He had not been in good health for some time and there is no doubt that the shooting of young Auman so preyed on his mind as to hasten his death." I would like to know more about the incident. REICHARD How can one ancestor cause so much trouble? Wish to correspond with researchers of the Joseph REICHARD family of Centre Co.. Joseph, Sr. Lived in Northern Liberties of Philadelphia where he and wife Maria Appolonia had four children baptized in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. In 1775, he purchased land in Potter Twp., Centre Co. and died there after 1793. His son Joseph, Jr. Was one of the founders of Millheim. Joseph, Jr. and wife Anna Maria had 13 children. My line is from their oldest daughter Catherine who married John STOVER and second husband Philip MUSSER. Need info on an unknown Henry REICHARD who filed an estate claim, and Catherine JEHOVEN (probably not the correct spelling) who was listed as sponsor of the birth of Catherine in 1789.
