The meeting was called to order by Commander Ron Albert, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
The minutes for the January meeting were read. A motion to accept the minutes was made by Russ W. Jones and seconded by Phil Jones. All were in favor.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Joe Long read the financial report with the following information: Interest income on CD's for 2002 $263.39. End Balance for February $2,551.73. 90 members have paid their 2003 dues. January 4th ticket winner - Ed Faatz. A motion to accept the financial report was made by Bob Shaffer and seconded by Phil Jones. All were in favor and the report was referred to the audit committee.
OLD BUSINESS: Russ P. Jones reported that Don Cahoon would stay on the Memorial Association Board of Directors until someone could be found to take his place. Howard Wolfe will be taking the seat of Mark Myers and Don will file all the necessary paperwork.
The luncheon was moved to March 29th, 2003 due to previous bookings. It will be held at Arcaro and Genell's Restaurant in Old Forge, Pennsylvania at 1:00 p.m.
Secretary Shaffer will contact Father McLaughlin at the University of Scranton about attending the luncheon to give the prayer and benediction.
Commander Albert still working with Laramie Smith to get the flag case completed.
NEW BUSINESS: Joe Long brought up the fact that the Camp should pay back the Memorial Association the sum of $750.00 dollars which was given to the Camp to start its checking account. The loan was made on September 27, 1993. After a discussion, it was decided to wait until the Association needed the money before a check would be written.
New member Mike Grayson asked some questions about old members and also brought in some information he had gotten from the Library for members to read. He did leave some of this information at the Museum.
