The following is a list of the cemeteries in Centre County, Pa., and it constitutes an outline of the monumental effort that the Centre County Genealogical Society has put into its Cemetery Project. The Cemetery Project is focused on identifying all of the burials in Centre County. Thanks to many individuals who had a role in contributing data for this list. Thanks also to Nancy Lee Stover who has provided directions as well as references to volumes now available to researchers at the Centre County Library and Historical Museum in Bellefonte.
We support cemetery preservation, and feel that those of you who are interested in the condition of cemeteries in which your ancestors may reside, should encourage the renewal of the Adopt-a-Cemetery Project which the Centre County Genealogical Society and Centre County Historical Society had begun a few years ago.
