Remarks The soil of a large portion of South Coventry is
red-shale overlaying a
bed of red sand stone rock, which runs through the township in a northeast &
southwest course In the southern portion of the township along the
valley
of French Creek the soil is a gravelly loam - in this part of the township
several beds
of limestone of excellent quality have been found but lays at a depth which will
