The Pacific Islands Genealogy Mailing List is for the discussion and collaboration on genealogy and family history of indigenous peoples from the Pacific region.

Pacific Islands

The discussion is in English. However, if you wish to contribute in your native tongue, that is acceptable. With this mailing list, you can send messages to the whole group. Most of our genealogies are recorded orally.

Mode of Address

There are two modes:

  • Mail Mode where you receive each posting as a separate message

  • Digest Mode where you receive several postings in one message

    To subscribe to this list, select a mode and type subscribe only, in the BODY of the message, leaving the SUBJECT line blank

    To unsubscribe from this list, select a mode and type unsubscribe only, in the BODY of the message, leaving the SUBJECT line blank
