Francis C. Waid chronicled life in Crawford County and along the road in the late 1800s. He complied his family sketches, thoughts, impressions, and "little transactions of common events of life" into three volumes titled Souvenir. Excerpts from the Third Souvenir are presented here. Hundreds of Crawford County residents are mentioned throughout the excerpts. Thanks to David M. Waid for making this material available.
