OBITUARY, Death of Charles A. Stafford,

Charles A. Stafford, for many years a resident of Meadville, passed away Monday morning at 1:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Swarts, Titusville, aged 82 years. Mr. Stafford is survived by his aged wife, who is residing in Titusville, and six children, Mrs. H.E. Yocum, Mrs. V.L. Woods, Mrs. E.E. Stebbins, Miss E.M. Stafford, all of this city: Mrs. William Swarts, Titusville, and Walter Stafford, of Canton, O.


Mr. Stafford was born in England in 1830, coming to this country as a boy. For a long number of years he resided in this City where with Mrs. Stafford he was well known and highly esteemed by all who knew them. He was a trusted employee of the Erie Railroad. Just recently Mr. and Mrs. Stafford celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary and were remembered by their friends. Mr. Stafford was a member of the Episcopal Church of this City.


The remains will be brough to this City and the funeral announcements be made later.
