In the name of God Amen. I, Daniel Miller of the Township of Fallowfield, County of Crawford, and State of Pennsylvania, being sick and weak in body, but of sound mind, memory, and understanding (praised be God for it), and considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and to the end I may be better prepared to leave this world, whenever it shall please God to call me hence, do therefore make and declare this my last will and testament in the manner following, that is to say first and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God my creator, hoping for free pardon and remissions of all my sins, and to enjoy everlasting happiness in the heavenly kingdom, through Jesus Christ my Saviour, my body I commit to the earth at the discretion of my executors herein after named;

Secondly, I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary and my daughter Barbara the use of all my estate, real, personal, and mixed, during their natural lives.

Thirdly, It is my request that within forty days after the death of my wife Mary and my daughter Barbara that my executors sell all my estate, real, personal, and mixed, and I do hereby appoint my son Michael Miller guardian of my wife and my daughter Barbara to take in trust all my estate for their use and support.

Fourthly, I will and bequeath to my son John Miller sixty dollars to be paid by my executors out of the sale of my estate.

Fifthly, I will and bequeath to my grand children Daniel Harkins, Daniel Miller (son of Michael Miller), Daniel Miller (son of Jacob Miller), Miller Grimes, and Miller Lewis each fifty dollars to be paid in like manner out of the sale of my estate the remainder after paying the expenses to be equally divided between each of my children their heirs and assigns.

Sixly, I do appoint Adam Stewart Esq and Michael Miller my executors and I do authorize them sell enough of my personal property to pay my just debts and expenses.

In witness where of I have hereinto set my hand on this 19th day of December A.D. 1835.
