This deed, dated 5 June, 1829 was between (the late) Robert H Bowne of NYC and my 3rd gr grandfather, Nathaniel Brown b abt 1793 in RI for a parcel of land in McKean Township, Erie PA. Nathaniel Brown, his wife Eleathea (Crocker) and children, Julia Ann, Ursula and William Wallis Brown had just arrived from Sardinia, Erie NY. My 2nd gr grandfather, Joseph was born later in the year on 20 Oct, 1829, in Mckean Township. John Bowne, presumably the son of the late Robert H Bowne, was the executor of his estate.
