July 1, 2004 to December 30, 2004 Essentially no work has been done on this website. Homepage updates and updates to the Find-A-Grave Index page are noted exceptions.

September 6, 2004 Added a new Cemetery feature page for Crane Cemetery in Conneaut Township as submitted by Andy Pochatco. Linked this page to the Conneaut Township page and to the Cemeteries index page.

June 17, 2004 Big update day! First website work since April 22nd. Updated the Erie County Courthouse & Vital Records Information index page by correcting all of the Erie County government links. Updated this What's New page by bringing everything up to date. Added a new feature page entitled The Baldwin Family of Amity Township as contributed by Dana Baldwin Lorenz. This page had been completed in April but had not been uploaded. The page has been linked to the Family History & Biographies index page, and the Amity Township page. Added three additional Faces of Erie County feature pages from material submitted by April Worster. Baldwin Children, Young Orval and Calvin Baldwin, and Millie Mae Orr Pattison have been linked to the Faces of Erie County page, and to the Amity Township page. Added a new School photo feature page entitled Union City HS 1917 as contributed by April Worster. This page was linked to the Schools Index page and the Union Township page.

June 1, 2004 Updated the web site Home page to indicate that no work was done on the site at all during May, and to announce that there would be no theme for June.

May 1, 2004 Updated the web site Home page to reflect that Military will be the theme for May.

April 21-22, 2004 Added six new Faces of Erie County feature pages from material submitted by April Worster. These pages contain photos and names from the Baldwin, Pattison, Cambell, Bartholme, Allen and Richards families of Amity Township. The pages have been inked to the Faces of Erie County index page and to the Amity Township page.

April 20, 2004 Added a new feature page from material submitted by Beth Simmons in early 2003 as a scanned image, and transcribed by Joyce Anthony. This page, titled Chautauqua Lowry Extract, has been linked to the Family History & Biographies index page only.

April 19, 2004 Updated the Old Maps Index page with a new link to the 1895 Atlas provided by an off-site service. This link had been removed in March as it was no longer working. Thanks go to Mike Wennin for providing the new link. Added a new feature page titled Lamp Lighters of Springfield as contributed by Evelyn Baker. This page has been linked to the Family History & Biographies Index page and to the Springfield Township page.

April 18, 2004 Added a new feature page titled Abel Thompson and Family of Union City as contributed by Beatrice Leemhuis. This page has been linked to the Family History & Biographies Index page and to the Union Township page.

March 20, 2004 Added a Land Records feature page entitled Venango Township Warrantee Map Tracts as contributed by Susan Smith. This page has been linked to the Land Records Index page, and to the Venango Township page. Also added a second feature page as contributed by Susan Smith titled Extract of Early Land Law as it relates to Erie County. This second page has been linked to the Land Records Index page only.

March 15, 2004 Updated the Old Maps Index page to remove several off site links that are no longer working.

March 13-15, 2004 Added a Land Records feature page entitled 1913 Kessler Mortgage as contributed by Janine McCoy. This page has been linked to the Land Records Index page, and to the City of Erie page.

February 25, 2004 Added two new Church related feature pages from material submitted by Barbara Root Seyler. One, a photo with names from a 1921 Glenwood Church Sunday School, was linked to the Church Index page, and to the City of Erie page. The other, 1930s Erie County Combined Chorus's, was linked to the Church Index page only.

February 19-20, 2004 Added final feature pages for St. Paul's RC Church from material submitted by Rick Landers. These pages have been transcribed by various individuals as indicated on each page. Added at this time are: La Nuova Aurora, Nuova Aurora Femminile, and Sodality of Our Lady. An index page for all of these submissions was created on 2/3 and last updated on 2/20. This index page is linked to the City of Erie page, and to the Church Index page.

February 18, 2004 Added a new Church feature page titled Evangelical Church Related, as submitted by Janine McCoy. Linked this page to both the Church Index page and to the City of Erie page. Also revised an article titled West Springfield United Methodist Church by adding several pictures submitted by Evelyn Baker.

February 9, 2004 Added four additional feature pages for St. Paul's RC Church from material submitted by Rick Landers. These pages have been transcribed by various individuals as indicated on each page. Added at this time are: Boy Scouts, Altar Boys Society, Noi Altri, and the Adelaide Cairoli Lodge.

February 6-7, 2004 Added two additional feature pages for St. Paul's RC Church from material submitted by Rick Landers. These pages have been transcribed by various individuals as indicated on each page. Added at this time are: St. Paul's Senior Choir, and the Sacred Heart of Mary and Rosary Societies.

February 6, 2004 Added a new Church feature page titled Reverend Johnston Eaton, as submitted by Evelyn Baker. It includes a Lost Journal, a Pencil Sketch of Rev Eaton and his wife, and an obituary. Linked this page to both the Church Index page and to the Springfield Township page.

February 4, 2004 Added four additional feature pages for St. Paul's RC Church from material submitted by Rick Landers. These pages have been transcribed by various individuals as indicated on each page. Added at this time are: St. John of God Society, Tuscany Girls Club, Tuesday Club, and the Tra Noi Club.

February 2, 2004 Added four additional feature pages for St. Paul's RC Church from material submitted by Rick Landers. These pages have been transcribed by various individuals as indicated on each page. Added at this time are: St. Paul's Tabernacle Society, Young Ladies of Mount Carmel, Knights of St. Paul, and the Rivoli Club.

January 31 - February 1, 2004 Added seven additional feature pages for St. Paul's RC Church from material submitted by Rick Landers. These pages have been transcribed by various individuals as indicated on each page. All pages will eventually be linked to a secondary index page, and to the City of Erie page. For the time being, they are linked only from the Church Index page. Added at this time are: St. Paul's Patrons (for the Dedication), Circolo Romano, Societa Nazionale di Montenaro, United Professional and Business Men, Ushers' Society, La Viventi Club, and the Italian Women's Club.

February 1, 2004 Updated the web site Home page to reflect that the Church related theme will continue for February. Much material was received in the second half of January to continue the theme.

January 31, 2004 Updated the Township Index page and the Union Township page to reflect Bimmy Urso as the new township coordinator. A special and public thank you to the previous coordinator, Linda Emerson, who was not able to continue in this position due to other priorities. Added a Welcome Letter from Bimmy Urso to the Union Township page.

January 30, 2004 Corrected an omission from several years ago by adding a link on the Springfield Township page to the History of Camp Sequoyah (Scout's feature page).

January 26, 2004 Added a new Church feature page titled St Lawrence Parish, Albion, as submitted by Andy Pochatko. Linked this page to both the Church Index page and to the Conneaut Township page.

January 25, 2004 Modified the Church Index page to group multiple submissions concerning a single church, such as the Glenwood EUB (now UM) Church, the Central Presbyterian, and the St Paul's RC Church. Added two new church related photo feature pages with a lot of surnames included: Glenwood EUB 1921 Congregation and Glenwood 1960 Combined Church Choirs. Both of these were submitted by Barb Seyler. These pages will eventually be linked to a secondary index page, as well as to the City of Erie page. For the time being, they are linked only from the Church Index page.

January 23-25, 2004 Added the first several of a whole series of pages concerning St Paul's RC Church from material submitted by Rick Landers. These pages have been transcribed by various individuals as indicated on each page. All pages will eventually be linked to a secondary index page, and to the City of Erie page. For the time being, they are linked only from the Church Index page. Added so far: History of St Paul's, Father Louis Marino, Girl's Junior Choir, Italian Grocers Association, Fort Erie Lodge, Netta Cappa Sorority, and Junior Sodality of our Lady.

January 19, 2004 Updated the Fairview Township welcome letter from coordinator Rich Biondi.

January 12, 2004 Added a new Family History feature page titled Kuhn Family of Elk Creek Township as submitted by Merle Kuhn by way of Mary Mills. Linked this page to both the Family Histories and Biographies index page and to the Elk Creek Township page. Added a new Harbor Creek support page listing some of the holdings of the Harbor Creek Historical Society as submitted by Beth Simmons. Linked this page to Harbor Creek Township only. Added the first page related to this month's theme: Glenwood EUB Church Ground Breaking - 1923 Photo as submitted by Barb Seyler. Linked this page to the Church Index page and to the city of Erie page.

January 6, 2004 Finally felt like posting some material although none of it relates to the January Church theme. Added a feature page concerning the discovery of the John Robert Smith Journals, as contributed by Beth Simmons. This "announcement" was linked to the Family History & Biographies Index page, and to the Harbor Creek Township page. Added a Military related feature page titled Military Awards - Medal of Honor as submitted by Craig Sanders. This page has only been linked from the Military Index page. Added a new Miscellaneous feature page for various miscellaneous vital statistic information submitted from various sources. Added five obituaries and a Bible record to this page. The page is only linked to the Everything Else Goes Here index page.

January 1, 2004 Updated the Home Page Welcome letter to reflect a Church and Church Related theme for January. Updated the Copyright Statement to reflect the new year.
