Waltz, Peter D., In Girard, a Revolutionary soldier and pensioner, aged 97 years, 5 November 1847.  Mr. Waltz entered the army at an early period of the Revolutionary struggle and remained until its close in 1783.  He was a native of Montgomery County, New York. (Erie Observer – 27 Nov 1847)
