Spanning over Conneaut Creek, the Keepville bridge provided a good swimming hole for many kids, including my grand-father for many years, until being replaced by a concrete structure. The structure construction was commenced by W. J. Brockway in 1872. At one section of the bridge there was carved into the span at one part a set of initials and a date "WBJ 1874." The original span of the bridge reached 88 feet across Conneaut Creek, later an extension of 10 feet was added. Roof extensions of one foot each made the bridges total length measure in at 100 feet. The bridge was eventually replaced after some setbacks in the early 1960s.
