GARNER

Orienteer7@aol.com

My grandfather was Gustavus Adam Garner born 9/24/1887in Ramey Clearfield, Co. PA, son of James Garner and Lillian Tubbs.I have a picture of Lillian and James with a label of Huntingdon in the bottom right corner which I believe could have been around the time of their wedding. I also have notes that show Jame's father as Matthew Garner (civil war vet) and his mother as Isabelle Hoff. The notes also show his brothers and sisters as: John, Henry, Huston Bratton, Elizabeth, Alice, Phenie, and Hettie. I have visited the Old Stone Church graveyard near Markelsburg but have not made a connection yet. Any help connecting my James to Garner's in Huntingdon would be a great help.
