I believe his sons include John Trapier (born May 1, 1806), and Solomon Trapier (born aug 2, 1800) both living in Licking County Ohio at some time during their lives. For over twenty years I have been trying to find information on my gggrandfather Frederick WALKER. I first found him in the 1830 census in Morris Township, Huntingdon County. He was born in Germany 1790-1800 His wife Rebecca was also born in Germany the same time period. Their three children were listed with them: John b 1820-1825; my ggrandfather Frederick Jr b 1828, and daughter Mary born 1825-1830. Rebecca died 1831, probably in Huntingdon County but I can't find information or burial place. In 1840 the family was not on the census. In 1850 they are in Indiana County PA and he has remarried to Ann. Possibly he was married sometime to a Mary Sheffy. Does anyone have any suggestions for searching in this county or information on this family?

I am a fairly new geneology researcher and I'm not sure where to look to find any information about amout my ancester, Thomas Wilson. I hope to find his parents names to continue my search, and also learn more about his service to the War. Do you know where I should start looking for Civil War records? In PA or Nashville, TN? My Great, Great, Great Grandfather lived in Armstrong County, Wayne Township, Penn. and took the Pittsburg, Penn. train to go off to war, in 1861 or 1862 to join the Union Army. He died in a town near Nashville, Tenessee - in a place called Camp Andy Johnson, on March 15, 1862. He was born in 1791, so he was 71 years old, which seems too old for joining the war. Does this mean that he could have been a volunteer? I have a photograph of him in his Union Uniform, and he's not a young man, but he doesn't look 71. Any information or leads you could give me is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
