The Birthplace of Independence
Originally known as the Pennsylvania State House, Independence Hall was the site for the second Continental Congress and Constitutional Convention. The Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were drafted, approved and signed here. The Independence Hall Chapter holds its annual meeting here in May of each year.
