Instructions for subscribing/unsubscribing to the
Indiana County Discussion list:

Subscribe to the list by sending an email message to
PAINDIAN-L-request@rootsweb.com
that contains the word
subscribe
in the body of the message and nothing else. Turn off signature files, etc.

Unsubscribe by sending a message to
PAINDIAN-L-request@rootsweb.com
that contains the word
unsubscribe
in the body of the message and nothing else. Turn off signature files, etc.

To post to PAINDIAN-L, send a message to
PAINDIAN-L@rootsweb.com

If you prefer digest mode, send the command instead to PAINDIAN-D-request@rootsweb.com. To unsubscribe, send the command "unsubscribe" to PAINDIAN-L-request@rootsweb.com (if in mail mode) or PAINDIAN-D-request@rootsweb.com (if in digest mode.) To switch from one mode to the other, unsubscribe from one and then subscribe to the other. There is no "no mail" mode -- if you want messages to stop, simply unsubscribe.

A few simple rules:
1. Absolutely no flames or nastiness will be tolerated.
2. Please do NOT quote an entire message. If you want to quote, cut and paste the relevant portion.
3. Please do not attach files or send long files or GEDCOMs to the list. This makes some people's ISPs go crazy.
4. Relax and have fun here :> There are no dumb questions, and this is a friendly place.
