Michael may be contacted for questions regarding this website at mike.milliken@comcast.net however, the webmaster does not have access to data which is not already posted on this site. Assistance with research questions relevant to ancestors who lived in Mifflin County may be found on the Look-ups Page. Be sure to be specific with requests and thank the volunteer for his/her efforts. Requests may also be referred to the Juniata County Historical Society where volunteers will look for records within their library or vital records and probate info at the courthouse for a fee.

Vital Records may also be obtained by writing to various institutions listed on the Research Links and Where To Write For Vital Records page.

BELOW are new features to this website, intended to provide more opportunities to share information and network with other researchers. Add your family photos, a helpful research or Juniata County history link, or a link to your personal web page containing information about ancestors who lived in Juniata County, PA at one time.

The Townships Page is subdivided by townships with a page for each. Here is where you can post information regarding the demographics, evolution and history of that particular township. If you know anything about the families who once lived in that particular township, please volunteer your knowledge. Send information to the webmaster for inclusion.

PAGenWeb is looking for volunteers with access to local census records willing to transcribe the information to be shared on the web. If you have a copy of a particular township's census, you could help tremendously by either transcribing that information using the forms provided by the Census Project or simply by donating a copy to this website for posting. Someone else may be willing to transcribe it who does not have access to out-of-state census records.
