Located on Jail Road,
this cemetery is the fifth and last to be built by the British,
in Lahore. It is still in use, mostly by the local Christian population.
It contains graves
of some famous pre and post partition personalities including
Woolmer and Cornelius. The former being the Vice Chancellor of
the Punjab University while the later served as Pakistan's Chief
Justice in the 1960's. It also contains the grave of Maharaja
Duleep Singh's (the last Sikh ruler of Punjab, 1843 - 1849) daughter,
Princess Bamba Sutherland (1869 - 1957) who was also his last
descendant.
