He died Sunday in the Community Medical Center. He was the former Judge of Elections. He had worked in the Philadelphia Naval Shipyards and Federal Pacific Company of Scranton. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Taylor. Surviving are son John of Old Forge , nieces and nephews. Preceded in death were two brothers Matthew who died in1980 and Lawrence who died in 1987. Services Immaculate Conception with interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery Scranton. Helen BRADLEY (born 1894) married her cousin, James STEWART in Lackawanna County-possibly, Peckville. In 1910 census of Peckville, two children Madeline (dob 1901) and Gerald STEWART (dob 1904) are living with their aunt and uncle, Elizabeth and Richard BRADLEY (parents of Helen Bradley, above). I am trying to determine if these two children were in fact the children of James STEWART by a former marriage. I believe James was born in Va.
