I am searching for the family of Howell Davis and Ann (Richards) Davis. They were both born in Aberdale Wales and immigrated to Scranton, PA in 1864. Howell and Ann's oldest son was named Howell D. and his family remained in Scranton, PA at least through the 1930's. Please let me know if you are related to the any of the following Davis families. John F. Taylor died 8-28-1913 in Scranton, Pa. buried in Dunmore Cemetery had a daughter Mrs. Helen Williams, of Taylor. Also worked for Taylor and Tubbs Lumber company. Any information about this family or company would be appreciated.

PEARCE, Lawrence in the Peckville/Scranton area. I'm looking for any information available about Lawrence PEARCE, b. October 11, 1906,location unsure and d. December, 1977 in Fridley, MN. He was married to Marie MAYER, b. November 4, 1906, d. May 27, 2001, of Butler, NJ in 1932? and they had 2 sons, Benjamin, b. 1933 and Lawrence David (David), b. 1935 and 1 daughter, Merillyn, b.1937, d. January, 2003. I believe that his mother's name may have been Lena PEARCE and he had two sisters, both older I believe, Elsie b. 1899 and Hildred?. Hildred's married name may have been VILE and Elsie's married name may have been TINTLE. Lawrence became a pastor in the Pentecostal church and lived in NY, NJ and PA before moving to MN in the 1950s or 1960s. Any information, especially about his place of birth or parents, would be greatly appreciated.

Sylvester SMITH aka. Vet, son of Henry and Caroline SMITH of Dalton PA, married twice first wife believed to be Laura Jane maiden name unknown second wife Mrs. Laura Edwards. Marriage license for Sylvester SMITH and Mrs. Laura Edwards says his first wife died June 17, 1877. Year for this second license was 1886. Laura SMITH the first wife married before 1865 when daughter Laura J. SMITH was born. They lived in what is now Glenburn, Lackawanna county PA. In 1860 they had Laura 5, Delphine SMITH and Laura SMITH the mother was 24 and Sylvester SMITH the father was 27. In 1880 census Sylvester SMITH was widowed and the father of Laura SMITH15, Elizabeth SMITH 8, Frederick SMITH aka Fred 8 and Arthur 7. Fred W. SMITH obit 63 years old died April 30,1936 survived by Louis, George, LeRoy, and Glenall all of Dalton Lackawanna County PA. Fred worked for the Northern Electric Company, Dalton PA . Lewis SMITH married Mildred PATTERSON. Laura J. SMITH, Falls Twp Wyoming county, PA married Howard Isaac DECKER, Overfield Twp Wyoming County PA, son of Isaac and Eliza WILLIAMS DECKER on October 10, 1886. Laura SMITH DECKER died Nov 26, 1895 Falls Twp PA age 30. She had two sons William Wallace DECKER and George Lewis DECKER of Brinktown and Dalton, Lackawanna county PA. George DECKER worked for the Northern Electric Company, Dalton PA. George Lewis DECKER married Miss Ruth Tuttle PAINE of Ohio and Dalton, Pa. daughter of Henry and Effie DAVIS PAINE of Ohio and Dalton, PA. Sylvester SMITH is my gg grandfather. Laura SMITH and Howard DECKER are my ggrandparents, George Lewis DECKER is my grandfather. I am looking for two people. The first in my great uncle. His name is Michele Fieramusca. He problaby lived in Pittson about 1912-1916. He is buried some where in Pittson. He was catholic. His wife's name was Carmela and they had several children. He may have also gone under the name of Samuel or Salvatore Messina. The second person is also my great uncle and his name is Luigi or Jermone or Louis Morreale. Iam interested to know where they are buried the name of the cemtery and any info you might be able to give me. Info like date of birth date of death. Any info at all. They may have been killed by some unfortunate circeum stantes. If any of the info is available I would appreicate this also.

Looking for any information on JAN JOSEFSKI. He was living in PRICEBURG PA by 1890. He is listed on the shipping manifest of WOCHIECH LASKI in 1890 as Laski's brother in law. I am trying to find any information regarding the following surnames. GRAMASKI, WATKLEVITZ WILCEWSKI. My grandfather Nicholas Watklevicz was born January 3, 1917 in Pennsylvania. I believe it was Dickson City but I have no proof of that. Brothers and sisters included Bridgette, Stanley, Laurence, Chester and Josephine. His father Laurence WATKLEVITZwas a Coal Miner in Pennsylvania and died of black lung there but is buried n Poland. His mother Lena (Michalina) WILCEWSKI was born January 14th 1893 in Poland Lena's parents were Stanley and Eva WILCEWSKI. Eva's maiden name was Gramaski. I have contacted Vital Records in New Castle PA which sent me a No Record Certificate. I am back to square one. Any one with any help, ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Looking for information on John A. Williams and his wife Ellen Hays. John was the son of Charles Williams and Mary McGee. Ellen was the daughter of Edgar C. Hays and Margaret Harrison.
