Diaries & Letters
You learn so much from letters and diaries that I wanted to include them here. Scans of the actual letters are more than welcome, although I am happy with whatever you would like to send. I would be most pleased to receive complete collections of letters (which will get there own special place.) and diaries. Diaries of military men would be a wonderful addition to the site and most appreciated. Through letters and diaries we learn so much more about a persons life than just the numbers. We learn about the person and the culture of the community. We learn the social aspects of the times in which they lived and it is when we get into this area, as researchers, we really begin to learn about our past.
