National Society Daughters of the American Revolution
Lansdowne, Delaware County, Pennsylvania
We are proud of our past, and enjoy good fellowship with chapter members. We look forward to new members and future generations. Lansdowne Chapter programs are educational, patriotic, and historical in Nature. Our spirit is strong and our meetings are rewarding. Our chapter was chartered on June 23, 1923. Lansdowne was incorporated in 1893 and is home to many of our charter members. The Lansdowne Sycamore tree is estimated to have germinated in the mid-sixteen hundreds, pre-dating the American Revolutionary War by about 100 years. Our chapter donated the NSDAR marker at the site of the tree.
