Mrs.
Charlotte Temple Johnston, age 69 years, widow of Samuel
Richard Johnston, R.D. 10, died in Cresson, Pa. on October 16, 1953
after a year-long illness. She was born in Alabama October 22, 1883,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Dover.
Surviving children
are: Mrs. Bessie Rusu, Youngstown; Mrs.
Beulah Choco, Lucius Johnston, Mrs. Beatrice Fehrenbach, all of
this city; William S. Johnston of
Shippensburg, Pa.; Arthur O. Johnston and Leon
Johnston of this city. She leaves 34 grandchildren and 11
great-grandchildren. Interment will be in Savannah
Cemetery.
