GARDNER, 68 of McGrath Ave. died yesterday in Jameson Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born In New Castle July 24, 1896, to
William and Bridget Walsh Gardner. He was married June 18, 1923, to the former
Thelma Ruth McClelland. Besides his widow, he is survived by a brother, Thomas L. Gardner
of New Castle, as well as a niece, Vera Hilton
of New Castle and a nephew, Leo Jones of Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary and Gertrude Gardner, and three brothers,
Francis, Leo and Hilary. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
