Mrs. Effie Jane GARDNER, wife of
William Gardner of Stanton Avenue, dropped dead early Monday morning, heart trouble being the cause of her demise. She was born in Mercer County 76 years ago.
She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. S. Carson and
Mrs. Thomas Welch of this city; Mrs. Charles Mills
of Grove City, Xavier Gardner of Butler County and
Loyola Gardner at home. The funeral will be held at St. Mary's Church.
