Fred
Fehrenbach, 35, died Sept. 12th at the 110 Spruce Street home
of his brother, Robert, in Sharon, PA, after
a 2 year battle with tuberculosis. His death occurred on the seventh
anniversary of his marriage to his late wife who died five years ago. The
deceased was well and favorably known throughout the city and was popular
in sporting circles, having acted as referee when the Broadway Athletic
club ran boxing matches in Farrell. Mr. Fehrenbach was born in New Castle
and worked in the mills there before coming to Farrell. Survivors are
brothers, Robert of Sharon, Edward
and Andrew of New Castle; Joseph of
Struthers, OH: sisters, Mrs. Louis Williamson
and Mrs. Fred Sewald of New Castle; Mrs. Charles
Shippard, Mrs. Adam Rosche and Mrs. Louis
Snyder of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Catherine Heller of
Atlanta, GA; and Sister M. Gabriel of the
Order of the Divine Providence at the convent in Johnstown.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles
Andrew, who died March 28, 1907, at 8 months of age. Interment in St.
Mary's Cemetery.
