Mrs.
Hazel M. Gardner, aged 28 years, wife of Hilary Grant Gardner,
died at her residence, 419 Denver avenue, Wednesday, December 22, after an
illness of six weeks due to complications.
Mrs. Gardner was born in New Castle, May 8, 1898,
a daughter of Edward and Bertha Oliphant Hiler. She was a member of St.
Mary's church. Besides her husband she leaves five children; William,
Clement, Marie, Thelma and infant, three weeks old. She also leaves her
father, two brothers, Earl and Francis Hiler of this city and three
sisters, Ethel Lanskin of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Pearl Hunter of New Castle and
Mrs. Mildred Fair of Youngstown, O.
Funeral services will take place Friday, December
24, at 9 a.m. from St. Mary's church. Interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
