Pressley A. Mayne died from a paralytic stroke at his home on Croton Ave. about 1 a.m. Monday morning aged 57 years. He was born in Mercer Co. He leaves a wife and eight children. The latter are: Mrs. H. A. Fisher of Allegheny (City); Mrs. L. A. Cartwright of Youngstown; Mrs. H. B. Clark; Emma; Lester; John; Wallace; Noble, all of this city. Deceased was one of a family of 13, four of whom survive him. They are: Mrs. J. H. McMurray of Allegheny; Mrs. H. G. McCune; and Mrs. S. S. Smith of this city; and Mrs. Martha Kerr of Martins Ferry, Ohio. Remains were taken to Mercer County Tues. and interred in Carpenter's Cemetery.
