WILLIAM FEHRENBACH, Prominent Young Man Succumbs to Fever

Entered into rest Wednesday evening, William Fehrenbach, aged 18 years and five months, at the family residence, No. 115 Home Street. The departed was a model young man, kind and affectionate in home life, and his demise is a sad blow to the members of the family. He was an active member of St. Joseph's German Catholic Church and was prominent in church society work. He was a member of the Young Men's Catholic Institute and the Catholic Total Abstainance Union of America.

His mother died in January and the son now follows her to the grave in less than six months time.

William Fehrenbach was born in this city in the year 1882. He grew up a bright youth and received his education in St. Joseph's school. About 18 months ago he accepted a position in the grocery store of John B. Berger & Son on Washington Street. Five weeks ago he took ill with typhoid fever and was given the best care and attention but grew gradually worse until the end came, and the sleep of death relieved him from all earthly suffering. Besides his father, the departed leaves the following sisters and brothers to mourn his departure:
Mrs. Carroll (Charles) Tscheppert, Mrs. Adam Rusche (Rosche) and Sister Gabriel of the Order of Divine Providence, all of Pittsburg; Mrs. Louisa Williamson, Mrs. Gustave Heller, Mrs. Fred Sewald, Miss Lena Fehrenbach and Edward, Andrew, Fred and Albert Fehrenbach all of this city, and Joseph Fehrenbach of Dresten, O. The funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock at St. Joseph's church. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Carriages from McGonigle's.
