                 Montrose Chapter
                 2010 Spring Newsletter

New Meeting Location:
We will now be meeting at the Inn at Montrose, formerly Montrose House, at 10:30 AM on all our meeting dates going forward. The Montrose Inn can give us a private room to meet in which will allow us to have our meetings in a quieter setting. They also have a larger wait staff which will provide faster food service and enable us all to be served at the same time. The VFW has been very good to us and we hope our members will continue to support them.
Anyone who needs help parking their car can call Nan Baker, 278-3025, prior to the meeting and we will help you.

Spring Schedule: Thursdays at 10:30 AM at the Inn at Montrose
March 11th
April 15th – please note, this date has been changed from the 8th because of the PA State Conference.
May 13th
June 10th – picnic at Nan Baker’s at Elk Lake . This will also be our Annual Meeting. We will advise of a rain date, if necessary.

Pennsylvania State Conference:
Our regent, Marleta Shadduck, is running for PA State Treasurer. Congratulations Marleta!!! The convention is April 8th -10th in Pittsburgh . There is still time for anyone who wishes to go to the conference to register and make reservations for the hotel. It would be wonderful to have as many members from the Montrose Chapter attend this year to support her. Please contact Marleta or Nan if you can go and we will make sure you get a registration form and information for the conference.
