Our microfilm of early (begins in 1772) Northumberland County Wills, Deeds and
Orphans Court records has arrived. We also have added Montour County Birth
and Death Registrations, Marriage Licenses, Special Delayed Birth Registrations,
additional Orphans Court Dockets and WW I Draft Registrations.

Montour County Board of Commissioners and the Columbia Montour Visitors Bureau.

Research (MCGS):
Effective January 1, 2004, there is a change in the open hours of the Thomas
Beaver Free Library which affects the MCGS Genealogy room hours on Saturdays.
New Saturday hours will be 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. We've also decreased
Monday hours to 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We will attempt to accommodate
researchers requesting additional hours within the Thomas Beaver Library
schedule if a volunteer is available. Please e-mail
