Kishacoquillas Park Swimming Pool -  1927
Cooling off in the Kish Park pool was a pastime, even in 1927.  Those
wool bathing suits worn by the men were fashionable for the day.
Kishacoquillas Park, named for the nearby creek, was a stop on the
trolley line operated by the Lewistown and Reedsville Electric Railway
Company.  Even after the trolleys ceased running in 1933, the park grew,
adding amusements and rides over the years.  The amusement park closed
in the 1970s, but the pool remains today as part of Derry Township
Community Park.
