I am looking for any cemetery listings or obituaries for the
Sharon/Hermitage/Wampum areas of Lawrence and Mercer Cos. In
particular, I am looking for the cemetery in which John
KLINK, a veteran of the PA 101st Infantry, is buried.
We have never been able to find the whereabouts of his grave and would
greatly appreciate any help we can get. He was b. Sep 5, 1821 in
Beuren, Germany as Johannes KLENCK, but changed his name
upon coming to the states. He m. May 4, 1849 to Barbara
SAYLOR and had 11 children. He d. Sep 29, 1877.
We believe that he is buried in Wampum, but there is a possibility that he
is buried in Mercer Co., near the Sharon/Hermitage area. Let me know
if you have any info. on John KLINK or if you know of
anyone that does professional researching for this area.

Volant. They had 8 children: George, John, Nancy, Thomas, Sarah Jane,
William A., Robert Walker, Martha Green CLINEFELTER.
John, Thomas, William, Robert, and Sarah's husband (Joseph L.
JOHNSTON) all served in the Civil War. Michael
KLINEFELTER, Revolutionary War veteran, m. Appollonia.

was Virginia GRAHAM. We have no dates or places

Either she or he had a brother Ren or Lorenzo. I suspect
SAY was from Butler Co. SAY family but
cannot prove it. Another uncle, Lewis, had a gas station in Ashtabula. BOWEN and CLARK could have
been from any neighboring county! Any help out there?

Daniel O'SHEA, b. ca 1830s in Ireland?, d. ca 1870s? in
Youngstown, OH?, is my maternal great-grandfather. He m. ca 1860/1861
to Margaret REILLY, b. 1839 in Ireland, d. 1914 in
Cleveland, OH. Their son, also Daniel O'SHEA (my
grandfather), was b. 19 Nov 1862, baptized at St.Michael's Church in
Greenville, Mercer Co., PA, and d. 1937. However, there is no record
of their marriage at St.Michael's. In 1863/1864 a dau., Margaret, was
born to them in OH, possibly in Youngstown, OH. She d. ca mid-1870s in
Youngstown. I can find no mention of Daniel O'SHEA in
any records, other than on my grandfather's Baptism Certificate at
St.Michael's in Greenville, and I have been trying to find what happened to
him for a very long time. This Daniel and Margaret
(REILLY) O'SHEA family was related to the
Michael and Bridgit (VENEKAR) SULLIVAN
family, later of Youngstown. Daniel O'SHEA and
Michael SULLIVAN may have lived in Crawford Co., PA in the
late 1850s to the early 1860s. Any info., or even
speculation, on my great-grandfather, Daniel O'SHEA/SHEA,
will be gratefully received. Thank you.
