McMAHON, his wife, Hannah, and son, John S., were in
Pymatuning Twp. in 1850. I have a number of questions regarding them
and in need of a guide to my next step. I'd like to know where I can
get a marriage or birth certificate from abt 1845 or 46. Is it
possible? I am also interested in how and why Peter would be in that
part of the world. Was Mercer Co. a mining area, and where could I find
a brief history of the place? This will help me figure out what he was
doing there. His wife, Hannah, was b. in PA according to the
census. So, could someone point me in the right direction to help me
uncover some of these mysteries?
