I have the ship's list for my ancestors, Jane and David
McKEE, who came to western PA in 1820. I am trying to
find out who preceded them. I also have a family tree that begins with
them which was started by my Aunt Hazel WINDER. My
grandfather was Robert S. WINDER and my grandmother was
Jennie McKEE. I would appreciate any info. anyone may
have and will be happy to share mine.

My g-grandfather's family has been very difficult to locate. All the
info. I have is that he m. 1884 in Morgan Co., OH to Rachel
HOLLETT, according to records in the Quaker Marriage
Book. Rachel and William appear on the 1900 census for Huron Co., MI
along with her sister, Hannah, who m. Hiel LEONARD. I
don't know if these men were brothers or cousins. Any help with my
LEONARDs would be greatly appreciated.

Louisa WHEELER, m. 24 Mar 1886 in Mercer Co. I'm
looking for ancestors of both. Robert's father was William
DAVISON, resided in Sandy Creek on 1850 census with wife,
Ann __?__, immigrated from Co. Armagh, Ireland. His name also appears
sometimes as DAVIDSON. What was Ann's maiden
name? Does anyone have info. about how they arrived from Ireland?
Louisa's father was Ephraim WHEELER, resided Salem Twp. with
wife, Margaret __?__. Ephraim's parents may have been Oliver
WHEELER and Sarah __?__ who were buried in Old Salem
Cemetery, Sugar Grove, 1840 and 1872, respectively. What was Sarah's
maiden name? Where did Oliver and Sarah come from? 1870 census
for Salem Twp. says Sarah b. in NY. Thanks!

WHITE. Their children: James Morgan, b. Jul 1841;
William Henry, b. 1843; John Jackson, b. 1844; Samuel P., b. 5 Mar 1845;
Sarah, b. 1851; Susan, b. 1853; Lucy F., b. 1857; and Winfield S., b.
1860. The first 5 children were b. in Jackson Co., VA (now WV).
The others were b. in Meigs Co., OH. Samuel d. 28 Aug 1883 in Meigs
Co., OH. First three sons were Civil War Union soldiers. Any help
locating ancestors greatly appreciated.

10 Jul 1894, buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage, PA, m. Sarah A.

18 Feb 1858; Eva L., b. 1862; Robert James, b. 1863; Emma A., b. 1865; and
Ida Mae, b. 1872. Looking for additional details about this family and
to document that William is the son of Robert HAMILTON (see
above).
William Alfred WINGER, b. 26 May 1851, d. 7 Aug 1920, of
Mercer, PA, married twice. Seeking info. regarding his first wife,
Margaret. They m. 1870-1874 but there is no record of the marriage at
the Mercer Co. courthouse. They had one dau., Ida Louella
WINGER. What was Margaret's maiden name? Who
were her parents? Where was she born?
Salathiel CLINEFELTER, b. 1765, d. 13 Aug 1873, farmer,
lived near Leesburg, m. Jane Elizabeth MAGEE. Their
children: George, John, Nancy, Thomas, Sarah Jane, William A., Robert Walker,
and Martha Green. Seeking info. regarding Salathiel's parents and
siblings. Is there a connection between these
CLINEFELTERs and the families with the same surname in
Lawrence Co.?

Benton Harbor, MI to Evaline BROWN. Harry was son of
Daniel GRAFF and Mary COOK, both b. in
Mercer Co. Their names come from Harry's death certificate. Would
love to share what little info. I have. I have checked the 1850 census
and do not find anyone I could identify. On the 1870 PA census, there
are both Daniel GRAFF and Daniel T.
GRAFF. One or both are my connection. Both were
b. in PA, one living in Mercer Co., the other in Crawford Co. One is
44, the other is 25 at the time of the census. One had a son, Harry, in
Mercer Co. Also, one m. Mary COOK (Harry's mother) and
one may have m. Margaret __?__. Thanks in advance.

Lydia GEORGE, b. Aug 7, 1794, d. Mar 12, 1883. They
lived in Worth Twp., Mercer Co., PA and are buried in the Hansen
Cemetery. Seeking marriage date and link between Benjamin and his
father, Joseph MEDBERRY, b. 1768 in Smithfield, RI, d. Sep
7, 1844 in Chautauqua Co., NY, buried in Nashville Cemetery, Hanover, NY.
Jonathan and Charity (SIMPSON) SOPHER were
m. Nov 3, 1821 in Essex Co., NJ (now Union Co.). I found their marriage
record which indicates that Jonathan was from Scotch Plaines, Westfield,
Essex Co., NJ and Charity was from New Providence, Springfield, Essex Co.,
NJ. Jonathan and Charity moved to Wolf Creek, Mercer Co., PA by
1830. Seeking marriage record (church/civil/bible record) of their son,
Isaac SOPHER, b. 1827, m. Orsina MEDBERRY,

William VOGAN, b. 1844, d. 1929, m. (date unknown) to Ellen
Bryan INGRAM, b. 1834, d. 1843. They were both b. in
Crawford Co. but lived for a short time in Mercer Co. I am looking for
marriage, family, and possible will of William. I am doing the
VOGAN family history and would appreciate hearing from

to Mercer Co. in his 20's. Later, he m. Martha
ELDER. The couple had several children while in Mercer
Co. This MUNNEL family, sometime during their lives,
moved to Princeton (was Beaver Co., now Lawrence Co.). I understand
that Lawrence Co. was originally part of Beaver Co. and part of Mercer
Co. Any help in locating records of this family will be appreciated.

Lawrence Co., PA, but I find them in Mercer Co., PA in 1880. According
to Mary J. (MAYERS) EWING's will filed at
the Mercer Co. courthouse, she was living in Youngstown, OH at the time of
her death, and she still owned a farm in Shenango Twp., Mercer Co., PA.
Mary's husband, Thomas G. EWING, was still alive in 1888
when she wrote her will. Mary (MAYERS)
EWING had a sister, Sarah (MAYERS)
DOLBY, and I believe a brother, James
MAYERS. If anyone has any info. on this
EWING-MAYERS-WALKER-PADEN family, I would be glad to share
what I have.

b. abt 1730 in Scotland, was in Wolfe's army at the Battle of Quebec.
It is believed that he also fought in the Revolution and lived in the
Allegheny Co., PA area before settling in Mercer Co. with his sons, John and
Duncan, in 1802, where he d. 1808.
