This is a copy of the information that
Father Francis P. Tushim sent to me regarding the baptisms of my gr-grandfather and his brothers and sisters at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, of Mercer, PA.
Our records show the following:
Martin, son of Thomas O'Connor and Elizabeth McCann
was born on December 29, 1841- was baptized on January 23, 1842 by
Rev. J. P. Gallagher.
Sponsors: John McCarty and Anna McCann
Maurice-- born on December 30, 1843-- was baptized on January 1, 1844 by
Rev. J. P. Gallagher.
Sponsors: Timothy Hurley and Maria
Keane.
Margaret and Elizabeth-- born on March 30, 1845--were baptized on the same day by
Rev. M. J. Mitchell
Patrick--born on September 11, 1846--was baptized on October 25, 1846. Sponsors :
Joseph McCann and
Maria Hurley. Priest:
M. J. Mitchell
We do not find a record of Ellen or the family after 1846.
They may have moved out of the area at that time.
