Records
The Mercer
County Register of Wills has finishing microfilming the estate records of Mercer County which begin in 1804.
The original documents are being given to the Mercer County Historical Society.
The first batch 1900-1971 has already been transferred to the society and
the second 1804-1900, will be sent to the society as soon as they are microfilmed. The Register's
Office will still have the documents on microfilm, but not the originals.

The Estate
Project Fund was opened March 3, 2001, to help cover the expense of temporary storage,
purchase of shelving and future renovations to house the records.
