NOTE:  Deed conveys the following:  all right title and privilege of repairing and keeping his Mill Dam built on Little Shenango Creek as high as it was in the year 1834, which dam caused the water to overflow part of the land of said John Vaughn which lies southeast of ten mile road and southwest of said road with the water course of Little Shenango Creek, and release all damages for same.

NOTE:  Land conveyed in three parcels as follows:

(1)     Beginning at the southeast corner of Donation Lot 909; thence north 2 ½ degrees west, to public Road; thence along said road in southeast direction to Feathers Run; thence along said Run in southeast direction to where it empties into Mill Pond; thence along said Mill Pond in a southeast direction on the east side two feet above High Water Mark to the north line of donation lot 908; thence south 87 ½ degrees west along the line of said Lot 908, to place of beginning; containing about 20 acres, and to include the water privileges purchased by John W. Bean from John Vaughn (see item 1, above).

(2)     Parcel bounded north by Piersoll; west by Allen Morrison; south by Shay & Clark; east by Giles Clark; containing 50 acres more or less, being part of Donation lot 914.

(3)     Beginning at a white oak marked with a cross and running north 34 ½ degrees east, 66.6 perches to a white oak on the north line of Lot No. 915; thence south 87 ½ degrees west; along north line of lot 915, 41.6 perches to a post on bank of Little Shenango Creek; thence south 61 degrees west, along bank of said Creek 9 perches to a post on bank of said Creek; thence south 19 & 3/4ths degrees east, along bank of said creek, 14 perches to a post on bank of said creek; thence south 60 degrees west, along bank of said Creek 21 perches to a post on bank of the Creek; thence north 57 ½ degrees west along the bank of the Creek 14 perches to a post on bank of the Creek; thence south 13 degrees west, along bank of said Creek 8 perches to a post on bank of the Creek; thence south 41 ½ degrees east, along bank of said Creek 15 perches to a post on the bank of the Creek; thence east along the Creek 4.8 perches to a post on bank of the Creek, thence north 82 ½ degrees east, along the Creek 10 perches to a post on the bank of the Creek; thence south 23 degrees east along the Creek 6 perches to a post on bank of the Creek; thence south 23 degrees west along the Creek 6 perches to a post on bank of the Creek; thence south 32 degrees east, 7 perches to a post; thence north 82 degrees east, 10 perches to the place of beginning; and containing 11 acres and 146 perches.   ALSO conveys all right, privilege of repairing and keeping in good repair and order the tail race of the Mill and also the Creek which was granted to grantor by John McClure which privilege also included the right of ingress and egress so far as it runs on lot 915.

NOTE:                Land Described:  part of donation Lots 909, 914, and 915; beginning at the southwest corner of lot owned by Martin McCartney; thence in an easterly direction by lands of said McCartney to Georgetown Road; thence along said road till it intersects the Feather Run; thence in a southerly direction along said Run till it intersects the Mill Pond; thence on the east side of said Pond two feet above High Water Mark by lands of Bean and McGen till it intersects Jacob Vaughn’s line; thence in a westerly direction by land of said Vaughn, Cornelius Shay to a white oak tree; thence in a northwesterly direction by lands of Shay till it intersects Little Shenango Creek; thence up said Creek by lands of Shay till it intersects the southwest line of aid first part; thence westerly by lands of Shay to an oak tree; thence north by lands of Col. NOTE:  Deed recites that it conveys a 1/6^th interest, described as follows:  bounded north by second party, formerly David T. White; east by Thos. Bean and Simon Eckles; south by Simon Eckles; west by Simon Eckles, second party, formerly David T. White; containing 11 acres, more or less, upon which is erected a frame grist mill, with dam, races, etc., same as owned by David T. White & Phoebe C. Snyder, as tenants in Common, each an undivided ½ interest.  Property is from the Will of Phoebe C. Snyder, who died owning her undivided ½ interest, leaving to survive her three children:   John C. Snyder, who is now deceased; Bessie M. Davis and Marie Clark.

NOTE:  Deed conveys the following: 

(1)     bounded north by Little Shenango Creek & Public Road; east by lands of Hudson Bean; south by Gustavrs Vanneffels; west by W. M. White; containing 11 acres, more or less, which includes the Mill Site; the water rights and,

(2)     parcel bounded north by Little Shenango Creek; east the Mill Dam; south by W. M. White; west by W. M. White; containing one (1) acre, more or less,  and together with these two parcels of land all the water rights held and owned by W. M. White pertaining to the operation of Mill.

From here the property was conveyed to the Mercer County State Bank by C. G. Scowden Sheriff, as property of Clarence G. Wilson, as recorded in Deed Book “I”, Vol. 16, page 10; and by the said Bank to Earl W. Vandervort.
